What We Do

The Reach 922 offers adult woman human trafficking survivors a lifeline to leading stable, successful lives.

To help ensure a success rate, women will have a mentor assigned to them for the first 12 months after they leave the program.

Expectations

The Reach 922 is not a rehab or detox facility. When women come to us, they are ready and prepared to follow guidelines of The Reach. This is not a court-mandated program.

At intake, women sign documents that they are willing to adhere to the guidelines for remaining in the program. The women who start the program must be ready and willing to progress/move forward.

Women who enter the program are given the list of steps and what is acceptable while in our care. Women are not allowed to date. They are not allowed to have communication with family/friends during their first year in the program as this is a vital time for them; we want to make sure this time is dedicated to refocusing and gaining mental stability.

Children are not allowed to come to the program with the women. In year two, we work to reunite (supervised) family and any children.

Each woman in the program will have an individualized success plan that they are a part of creating during intake; we can only work to guarantee their success by them agreeing to follow their success plan.

Although we cannot force women to stay or to follow the rules/guidelines, we have quarterly reviews that can ensure their spot at The Reach is not compromised. Our goal is not to have anyone leave the program prematurely, however, we must have continued commitments.

"'It is for their freedom that I have set you free.’ From the moment this was spoken to my heart, the overwhelming compassion for the women who need to be rescued has overtaken my heart.”
